Insurance

Bonds and guarantees today. Claims evidence, panel by panel.

The documents an insurer issues — bonds, guarantees, policy schedules, insurance certificates and letters of undertaking — can be verified from day one, because the insurer controls issuance. Claims evidence from garages, assessors, hospitals and laboratories follows, as each authorised provider begins registering documents at source.

Bonds and Guarantees — Kweli Art Book

Bonds and Guarantees

The documents an insurer issues — bonds, guarantees, policy schedules, certificates and letters of undertaking. Because the insurer controls issuance, these can be registered and verified from day one, with no third party to onboard first.

Document Journey

How an insurer-issued instrument moves from issue to acceptance.

1Insurer issues bond or guarantee
2Insurer registers the document
3Beneficiary or counterparty receives it
4Receiving party verifies
5Validity confirmed
6Transaction proceeds

Kweli does not guarantee payment and does not assess the underlying transaction.

Deterministic, not probabilistic

A proof, not a probability.

Fraud-detection tools

Estimate whether a document looks suspicious. They score an unregistered document against patterns of known manipulation and return a likelihood — useful, but a probability, not a proof.

Kweli

Checks a presented document against the exact reference an authorised issuer registered at source, and returns a deterministic result: it matches, it doesn’t, or no record exists.

The two approaches are complementary. Detection helps where nothing was registered; Kweli gives certainty where it was.

Kweli does not claim to catch every form of insurance fraud. A document can be genuine and unaltered while the event it describes never happened.

Implementation

One workflow, proven in claims — not a platform rollout.

1

Start with a single claims workflow, such as motor repair estimates

2

Bring on a defined group of garages, assessors or hospitals

3

Train the claims handlers who process the documents

4

Track exception rates and claims cycle time
